Grady Sizemore (Cleveland Indians)

Contract Details:
2012: $5 million plus $4 million in possible incentives
Indians re-signed OF Grady Sizemore to a one-year, $5 million contract.
As expected. Sizemore could earn an additional $4 million with incentives, which kicks in if he reaches 450 plate appearances. According to Jon Paul Morosi of FOXSports.com, the oft-injured 29-year-old could make a $500,000 bonus if he wins the Comeback Player of the Year Award. It's unlikely the Indians would be able to afford to re-sign him if he has a huge bounceback season in 2012, but they could dangle him in trade talks if they fall out of playoff contention.

Wade LeBlanc (Miami Marlins)

Marlins acquired LHP Wade LeBlanc from the Padres for C John Baker.
LeBlanc, 27, posted a 4.63 ERA and 51/28 K/BB ratio in 79 2/3 innings over 14 starts this season. The Marlins wanted to add a left-handed starter this offseason, so even though he has been mediocre outside of PETCO during his career, LeBlanc could be a fit at the back-end of the rotation in 2012.
Contract:
Nov 23 2011
Traded to Miami (MIA) from San Diego (SD) for John Baker
Wade Matthew LeBlanc (born August 7, 1984 in Lake Charles, Louisiana) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Miami Marlins of Major League Baseball.

Josh McCown (Chicago Bears)

Free agent Josh McCown is reportedly the "leading candidate" to be signed as Caleb Hanie's veteran backup in Chicago.
McCown is expected to be signed by Wednesday, so he can put in a full week of practice. The Bears needed a veteran who was familiar with the offense, and McCown played under OC Mike Martz (as well as DC Rod Marinelli) in Detroit back in 2006. He won't be a threat to Caleb Hanie's starting job.

Bears signed QB Josh McCown, formerly of the 49ers.
The Bears missed out on Kyle Orton when the Chiefs beat them to him in the waivers process. McCown is a fallback option. The 32-year-old former UFL quarterback has been awful on the field throughout his eight-year NFL career, but is familiar with Mike Martz's scheme and can hold a clipboard with the best of 'em. He's probably very little threat to Caleb Hanie's starting job. In terms of the depth chart, McCown figures to compete in practice with rookie Nathan Enderle for the primary backup job.
