Broncos re-signed OLB/DE Jason Hunter.
Hunter was limited primarily to special teams last season following the arrival of rookie sensation Von Miller. He has appeared in all 32 games with Denver the past two seasons, and will continue to pinch in as a backup pass rusher.

Caleb Hanie (Denver Broncos)
Broncos agreed to terms with QB Caleb Hanie on a two-year contract.
Denver was Hanie's lone free agent visit. While he'd flashed promise in preseasons past, Hanie went 0-4 in spot starts for the Bears last season and was benched for street free agent Josh McCown. The Broncos shouldn't be done adding QB talent with Hanie and Adam Weber on the roster behind Peyton Manning. Look for a mid- to late-round pick on the position in April's draft.

Jacob Tamme (Denver Broncos)
Jacob Tamme contract Denver Broncos
Contract:3 yr(s) / $9,000,000 Signing Bonus - Average Salary $3,000,000 End Year:2014 Free Agent:2015 / Unrestricted3/23/2012: Signed a three-year, $9 million contract. The deal contains $3.5 million guaranteed.
Broncos agreed to terms with TE Jacob Tamme on a three-year, $9 million contract with $3.5 million guaranteed.
He'll be the slot/"move" tight end in Denver's offense, with Joel Dreessen playing on the line of scrimmage. Reuniting with Peyton Manning, Tamme will be a popular sleeper to target as a TE2 toward the end of fantasy drafts. He runs a 4.6-flat at 6-foot-4, 236, and has a knack for getting open. In 2010, Tamme racked up 67 catches for 631 yards and four touchdowns, finishing as the No. 15 fantasy tight end despite starting only eight games. Tamme just turned.

Joel Dreessen contract Denver Broncos
3/23/2012: Signed a three-year, $8.5 million contract.Broncos agreed to terms with TE Joel Dreessen, formerly of the Texans.
Houston's free-agent exodus continues unabated. A fine all-around tight end, Dreessen has received high marks from Pro Football Focus for receiving and blocking the past couple of years. He's also proven capable of high-end TE2 fantasy numbers while filling in for Owen Daniels. His 2012 value depends on whether the Broncos add Dallas Clark or Jacob Tamme to the mix. Garrett Graham ascends to the No. 2 role in Houston unless a fullback is signed to free up James Casey. Second-year TE Julius Thomas may need to stay in the incubator for another year in Denver.

Peyton Manning (Denver Broncos)
Peyton Manning contract Denver Broncos...
3/20/2012: Signed a five-year, $96 million contract. The deal includes $18 million guaranteed -- Manning's 2012 base salary. The guarantees can rise to $60 million (Manning's 2013-2014 base salaries) if he passes a March 13 physical. 2012: $18 million, 2013-2014: $20 million, 2015-2016: Under Contract, 2017: Free Agent
Broncos signed QB Peyton Manning to a five-year, $96 million contract.
The biggest free agent signing in NFL history is now official. The amount of guaranteed money is currently unknown, but the $19.2 million average annual value surpasses that of both the deal Manning signed with the Colts last summer and the four-year, $72 million extension Tom Brady signed in 2010. It's an historic amount of money for any player, but particularly for a 36-year-old who didn't play a snap in 2011. The Broncos will now go about surrounding Manning with more weapons and former confidants. First up is likely free agent C Jeff Saturday.
The National Football Post's Andrew Brandt reports Peyton Manning will make $18 million in 2012 "without injury protection."
It's a leap of faith by the Broncos, but essentially means Manning's five-year, $96 million deal includes "only" $18 million in fully guaranteed money. The Broncos will be protected for injury beyond next season, as Manning must pass a March 2013 physical to guarantee $20 million base salaries in 2013 and 2014, while each year will include an injury waiver. Thus, it's essentially a one-year, $18 million contract with a March 2013 option to make it a three-year, $58 million deal. We wouldn't expect Manning to play beyond 2014.
